Ko te nui a Rawa kua horahia mā mātou, he taonga mā mātou te pae whakaako, heoi anō, he taonga motuhake mō ā mātou ākonga. Nei te mihi, nei te mihi, nei te mihi!


What did I learn that increased my understanding of Manaiakalani kaupapa and pedagogy?

Empower = Whakamana

Ko te hua i puta mai i te rangi nei ko te whakamana i ngā ākonga ki te whiriwhiri i tā rātou e hiahia ai.  Ahakoa ngā piki me ngā heke o ia rangi, ko te mea nui kia whārikihia ngā rawa mā rātou hei tipako. Ko te wero māku, kia kaua e whaiti ngā momo rawa, engari kia whānui kē ngā rawa mā ngā ākonga.

What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow as a professional?

Ko tētehi o ngā rawa māku ko te tutu i ngā taupānga tuhi waehere e rua. Ki taku nei whakapae, ka rata mai ngā ākonga ki ngēnei tūmomo ngohe i te mea e kaingākau ana ki a rātou katoa te tākaro kēmu. What did I learn that could be used with my learners?

Ko te tino hua i te rangi nei, ko te taupānga Scratch me te pae tukutuku studio.code.org hei waihanga i te kēmu Flappy. Miharo ana te waihanga i taku ake kēmu mō Flappy, ā, kāore e kore, ka rata atu ngā ākonga ki tēnei momo mahi mō te tuhi waehere.


 What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow in my personal life?

He tino taonga te whai wā ki te 'kori' me te 'tutu' i ngā taupānga whēnei i a Scratch.  Mōku ake nei, mēnā ka whai wā ahau ki te tutu, ka pakari ake au ki te whāngai i ngēnei rawa ki ngā ākonga katoa.  Engari, ka pai tonu ki ahau mēnā ka ako ahau ki te taha o ngā ākonga.

 What did I learn that increased my understanding of Manaiakalani kaupapa and pedagogy? 

Tuatahi ake, me mihi ka tika ki ngā kaihautū i tae-ā-tinana mai i te rangi nei.  Nei te mihi ki a Dave rāua ko Matt. Ka rere hoki ngā mihi ki a Vicki rāua ko Dorothy. E kore rawa te puna a Mihi e mimiti. 
Ko te kupu matua o te rangi nei ko te Ubiquitous, arā, Anywhere, Anytime, Any place, Anyone.

Ahakoa kāore au i te mahi ki rō kura i tērā tau, kua kitea ngā hua o te mahi matihiko i te wā o te mate urutā i te mea i whakaritea ngā kura o aku tama i ā rātou mahi mā te ipurangi, mā ngā Google Meets.



 


   


What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow as a professional? 
  • Ahakoa i whakamahi ā mātou pīpī paopao i ngā iPapa, he rawe te hoki atu ki te iPapa i te mea i haere mai au i tētehi kura i whakamahi ai i ngā iPapa mō te kura katoa. Nō reira, i āwhina ahau i tētehi o aku ākonga (he tau whā ia) ki te whakamahi i ngā taupānga o te iPapa.
  • Ko ngā akoranga katoa mō te Rangitaki, he mea pai mōku.  Koianei te tau tuatahi i whakamahia e au he Rangitaki, nā reira, kua tīmata ahau ki te tiki ake i ngā whakaahua hei png, me te 'embed' i ngā kiriata me ngā Ata Kūkara.


What did I learn that could be used with my learners? 
  • Nā taku torona atu ki te Digital Dig, kua waia haere au ki te neke me te nuku o te pukahiko. Ahakoa he matatau rawa aku ākonga ki te whakamahi i tā rātou pukahiko, he mōhiotanga ōku hei tohatoha ki a rātou, whēnei i ngā pokatata ka whakamahia e au.

Ko te kaupapa matua o te rangi nei, ko te whakahonohono. Ko te whakaaro nui o roto, me tohatoha ngā taha e rua. Kārekau he painga mēnā he kaha nō tētehi te tohatoha, heoi anō, he ngoikore tērā atu ki te tohatoha. 




What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow as a professional? 

Ngā mea katoa e pā ana ki ngā Paenga Kūkara! I kite maarire ahau i ngā mea hei whakatika whēnei i ngēnei e whai ake nei:

What did I learn that increased my understanding of Manaiakalani kaupapa and pedagogy? 

Making Learning and Teaching Visible: 

Tuatahi, he huarahi hou tēnei kia huakina ngā tatau o taku ao whakaako me ngā akoranga o ngā ākonga. Ina ka huakina ngā tatau ki te ao, ka riro mā ngā tamariki ngā kōrero whakatenatena i a rātou nō ō rātou hoa, nō tō rātou whānau, nō te kaiako hoki. 

Tuarua, ko tētehi huarahi kia kitea ngā akoranga o ngā ākonga, mā te Rangitaki.  Kāore anō te nuinga o aku ākonga kia tīmata i ngā Rangitaki; engari, ko ngā Rangitaki tētehi huarahi kia kitea ai ō rātou akoranga i te kura.

Tuatoru, i maumahara au ki tētehi kōrero e pā ana ki ngā 'pāwhiri/clicks.' Ina, ka whā, rima, ono rānei ngā pāwhiri, ka ngaro haere ngā ākonga. Nō reira kua takoto te mānuka ki mua i taku aroaro kia whai whakaaro ahau kia kaua e neke atu i te rua, toru rānei o ngā pāwhiri/clicks.

Multi Modal

Kātahi te kaupapa hou ko tēnei! Ko te akoranga nui mōku, ko te whakamahi i ngā momo rauemi katoa kia tō mai, kia rata mai ngā ākonga ki te ako.  I mua tonu i te rangi nei, i whakamahi ahau i ngā pukapuka pānui me ngā tuhinga a ngā ākonga hei rauemi mō te whakaako pānui. Heoi anō, kua kite ahau i te huhua o ngā rauemi e hāngai ana ki te kaupapa o Multiple Texts me ngā Modes.

Kua kitea hoki i te rerekētanga o ngā whakatakotoranga tawhito/traditional formats me ngā whakatakotoranga huhua/multimodal formats. Kāore e kore, ka rata mai ngā ākonga ki te ako mēnā ka kite ai rātou i tō mātou paetukutuku hou.

What did I learn that could be used with my learners? 

1) Me tīmata ahau ki te waihanga tuhinga, ata, hīti rānei nō roto mai i te kopaki/folder!

2) Ka rua, ka tīmata ahau ki te whakamārama me te tohutohu i ngā ākonga kia waihanga hoki i ā rātou mahi nō roto mai i te kopaki.

3) Ahakoa kāore anō mātou kia tīmata ki te whakamahi i ngā Rangitaki, he whāinga mōku kia kite ai ō rātou whānau i ō rātou akoranga i te kura.

4) I te tīmatanga o te tau, i whakaako ahau i ngā ākonga ki te whakarite i ngā tohuwāhi i roto i tētehi tuhinga Kūkara.  Ināianei, he hiahia nōku ki te whakaatu i te aheinga/function i roto i ngā tuhinga Kūkara, arā, ko te 'Show Document Outline' tērā.  He tere ake tēnei aheinga ki te whakarite, ā, mā ngā ākonga hei whiriwhiri i te huarahi pai ake ki a rātou.



What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow in my personal life?

Ka pakari ake taku tū i te akomanga matihiko nei ina ka tīmata au ki te whakarite i ngā akoranga i runga i ngā tikanga o ngā whakatakotoranga huhua. Tārewa ake te wā, ka rata mai ngā ākonga ki te ako, te hanga me te tohatoha.
